The Anthony Mendez interview
Show Notes

Loving Los Angeles today as I catch up with voice actor Anthony Mendez, known as the Latin Lover narrator from the television series 'Jane the Virgin', and the voice behind the mini-series 'Wonders of Mexico'.  The three-time Emmy nominated voiceover veteran talks about his move from New York to Hollywood; how he started in the world of voice via the music industry; tips on how to break into the voiceover business (and understanding the 'timeline' with voice success); and all about his new gig with Disney Plus, as he lends his voice to their 'Foodtastic' series with host Keke Palmer. Plus, Anthony makes this podcaster swoon with his voiceover introduction of 'Spotlight Conversations'.  Sigh. A moment of audio bliss. Bring along your headphones and join in!

Tune in as I invite friends inside my cozy linoleum free recording studio to talk about all things media - radio, television, music, film, voiceovers, audiobooks, publishing - if guests know media, we're talkin'! Unscripted and nearly always entertaining, each guest gets real about their careers in the entertainment biz; from where they started to how it's going. Join us in my swanky studio where drinks are always on ice; music + media are the conversation starters. New episodes every other Tuesday.
